Today marks my last official check in day with my personal trainer and I couldn’t let it go by without giving him a shout out. Seriously I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again, I hit the jackpot finding you Beau. I didn’t have a clue what I was getting myself into when I started this journey 14 months ago and could have ended up with a personal trainer who was as clueless as me, but I didn’t, I got you & I loved every minute of it. God knew what He was doing when He paired me with you & I’ll be forever thankful for Laura and Lindsay posting their progress and encouraging me to get started. Without all 3 of you, I wouldn’t be where I am today. So for friends reading this, if you are ever considering a personal trainer, I just don’t have enough good things to say about him or his program. The weight loss was great, but more importantly, I’m stronger & fitter than ever & found something I absolutely love to do. I’ve watched his clients make forward progress & get consistent results. He coaches online, in person and has also started releasing some pretty amazing workouts on ebooks that will be kicking my 🍑 as I make a go of this workout thing on my own this next year - so message him if you want any info. And Beau, thank you for equipping & teaching me to fly on my own and for letting me be my sassy self, I know that wasn’t always easy and you put up with more than you probably should have 🙈 - so today, I’m checking out with actual check in pics for the 1st time ever, instead of my repertoire of memes...jk, Imma go ahead and include those too because my check in just wouldn’t be mine without them. 😝✌🏼😎 Happy Fri-yay! #teambeau

Overall, you are a great trainer/coach. I am especially satisfied with the results and education received—the latter of which I give credit to the initial consultation which opened my eyes!

A few key highlights:

1.You were very approachable even when you were on one-on-one sessions (to which exercised caution and aimed to be quick with questions). I would be remiss if I did not mention your approachability from a year back prior to becoming a client!

2.You provided feedback, direction and motivation constantly. Responses were always clear and prompt!

3.You were understanding of my work/home life balance and through guidance, structured workouts to fit my schedule as best as possible.

4.You were very clear and concise with nutritional guidelines.

5.You provided workout plans that, too, were clear and concise. As time progressed, I noticed you provided clarifying notes based on past questions asked regarding equipment, form, etc. Nice to know that you anticipated my questions!

I honestly don’t have any ‘negatives’ or ‘critiques’. It’s evidently clear that you have a passion for helping others through fitness. Keep it up; the world needs more people like you!

tell a story. I look like I’m barely awake because I am, straight out of bed into a swim suit, I take these pics and my weight every Friday. To say I was mortified to allow my before picture to go up is an understatement. Heck, I’m not even where I want to be in this one yet. I decided that it was more about being real and transparent and vulnerable instead of looking good because that’s what inspires people to take action in their own life. Not seeing perfection all the time. This week wasn’t my most stellar week.

I’ve had weeks where I did fasted cardio every day, I did every workout with my trainer, I followed my meal plan exactly as it is written, and those are my awesome weeks.

This week, I just checked the box. Checked the box that said I may have missed some meals, took a couple bites of my kids enchiladas, skipped cardio, and didn’t sleep as much as I should have. Yet I showed up at every training session, ate my meals when I did eat, and over all still lived much better than I used to. Sometimes you just have to check the box that day even if you didn’t “seem” like you gave it all compared to what you know you “can” do because that week that was all you could do and you did something which is better than doing nothing.

So now that you know why I post terrible pics of me when I haven’t even brushed my teeth yet and I’m not even smiling because the light is still blinding me since I’m still asleep really... I’ve lost 32lbs as of today after being at a plateau for 3-4 weeks which makes me so happy and proud that even while I was stuck I still kept going at it and doing what I needed to do without letting it get me down!

You can do it too! Can’t afford a full blown trainer?? My trainer has a way to do it yourself for a fraction of the cost if you’re ready to make a change, now is the time!!
